Directions to our running locations ...

The NCR Trail Snails typically meet on Saturday mornings at either the beginning of the NCR Trail (Ashland Rd. parking lot - Mile 0) or at Loch Raven Reservoir (McFaul's lower parking lot). Where we will be on any given week is announced through a group wide email on the Wednesday or Thursday prior to that weekend's run. After the run, we always grab some breakfast at the local bagel shop.

Ashland Road Parking Lot - NCR Trail Mile 0

Take I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to I-83 North. Take I-83 North to the Hunt Valley Exit at Shawan Road (Exit 20a - Shawan Road East). Follow Shawan Road for approximately a mile - through two traffic lights. At the third light you will have to either turn left or right - this is York Road (Rte. 45). Turn right and then immediately get in your left lane as you are going to turn left at the next light (approximately 200 yards or so). This is Ashland Road. Turn left at the stoplight onto Ashland Road. In approximately a half mile you will see a residential community on your right with a sign that says ASHLAND. Turn right into the community and follow this road straight back to the parking lot. Quite often in the summer you will have to park along this road leading to the parking lot as the lot fills up quickly. Be courteous of the residents and do not block any driveways or parking spaces.
